Privacy
Lumiere & Co. keeps data collection to the minimum needed to reply to a quote request.
What the request form asks for
- Your name, and an email address and/or phone number.
- How you prefer to be contacted.
- Your vehicle's year, make, and model, and the service you're interested in.
- Optional notes about your vehicle, your availability, and your ZIP code.
We don't ask for a license plate or payment details through the quote form.
If you proceed with a quote or request a recheck
After an instant estimate you can choose “Proceed with this quote”. That page asks for your name, email and/or phone number, preferred contact method, the street address where the vehicle will be, and your preferred dates and times, plus optional notes. We ask for the address only at this step, so we can confirm the location and any travel fee. A recheck request asks for your contact details and what looks wrong with the estimate.
To carry your estimate to that page, your browser keeps a short summary of it (vehicle, service, price range, and ZIP code) for the current browser tab only. It contains no name or contact details and is cleared when you close the tab.
How it is used
We use these details only to reply to your request and discuss the service. Sending a request is not a booking.
The instant estimate
The estimate tool runs in your browser. What you enter there is not sent to us unless you choose to send a quote request.
The make, model, and year lists are loaded from the public vehicle database of the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). When you choose a make, your browser asks that database for its models, so it receives the make name and your IP address, like any website request. It does not receive your name, contact details, or the rest of the form. If the lists cannot load, you can type your vehicle instead.
